There's one, and it's a good one. The Cobh Family Resource Centre runs a free group on Tuesday mornings in term time, for parents, grandparents and childminders with children from birth to three. No sign-up needed.

Coral Leisure at Carrignafoy is the public pool. There's no parent and baby class, but the learner pool is shallow and family swims are on the weekly timetable. Group lessons start at three.
The learner pool is 0.8 m deep. One adult in the water per child aged ten and under, and a swim nappy for babies.

Two playgrounds in town and a forest a short drive away on Great Island. Cobh is steep and the town-centre pavements are narrow, so the waterfront is the easiest stretch with a buggy.

Yes. The Cobh Parent, Baby and Toddler Group meets every Tuesday, 10:30 to 12:00, term time only, at Cobh Family Resource Centre, Park House, Cloyne Terrace, Cobh P24 PP30. It's free and open to anyone with a child under three.

Cobh Library (free, Tuesday to Saturday), Cobh Heritage Centre (under-sixes free, café on site), the Titanic Experience (prams go in by the lift), the Tuesday toddler group, or a Monday afternoon dance class at the Great Island Community Centre.
Kids Ballroom runs on Mondays at the Great Island Community Centre, for three to four-and-a-half year olds (13:55, 30 minutes) and for four-and-a-half to six (14:25, 40 minutes). Real music, no outfit needed, and the first class is free.
